the 'here we come programs'
"Here We Come Programs" are designed to support unique minds and empower children who think, feel, and learn differently. We will formulate a positive pathway so children feel more comfortable when they start or transition within formal schooling from primary through to high school, if their teacher has recognised that extra support might be required, or if they already have a diagnosis. These 1-hour sessions typically focus on the foundations of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills that children will use in a school setting. These sessions are run by our director Sian Williams an Educational Support Specialist, combined with input (if required) from our Occupational Therapist and Clinical Psychologist.

animal Therapy sessions
Animals form a huge part of a healing, and support process for the human beings. They of course make incredible companions for young and old, however some of their more hidden talents might not be highlighted, such as their amazing ability to heal, sense illness, support and guide. At Sunflower Wellness we offer the opportunity for Animal Assisted Therapy and Equine Therapy sessions. This type of therapy encourages, engagement, trust and a sense of purpose, which builds confidence and supports children to develop social, emotional and behavioural skills. This is all supported by Dr Kirsty Furness and Sian Williams, both who have extensive experience in Animal Therapy.
